Ingredients

1. Bananas, mashed - 2 medium
2. Milk - 1 cup
3. Yogurt, plain - ½ cup
4. Honey - 1 tablespoon
5. Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
6. Ground cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon (optional)

Directions

1. In a blender, add all the constituents mentioned above, i.e., bananas, milk, yogurt, and honey.

2. Blend these constituents until they are smooth and are well combined.

3. Add cinnamon and blitz again to blend well.

4. Pour this banana yogurt smoothie in a glass, serve it and enjoy.

RECIPE NOTES:

1. To make your smoothies healthier, add two teaspoons of flax seeds. Make sure to blend them for 30 seconds so that they are coarsely ground. Remember to blend flaxseeds before blitzing the ingredients for a smoothie.

2. To make your smoothie fat-free, substitute plain yogurt with low-fat yogurt.

3. In place of cinnamon, you can also add nutmeg if you desire.

4. To make your smoothie extra-chilled, add four ice cubes or half a cup of ice is more than enough.

5. To make super thick smoothies, all you have to do is freeze your bananas.

6. You can remove honey if you do not want your smoothie to be sweet, as sugars in the bananas are more than enough.

7. In place of plain yogurt, you can use any flavored yogurt.
