Ingredients

1. Butter - 1 cup
2. Sugar 2 ¼ cups
3. Nutella - ½ cup
4. Eggs - 4 large
5. Cocoa powder - 1 ¼ cups
6. Salt - 1 teaspoon
7. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
8. Espresso powder - 1 teaspoon (It is optional)
9. Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon
10. All-purpose flour - 1 ½ cups

Directions

1. The initial step is to preheat the oven at 177 degrees celsius. Take a 9 by 13-inch baking dish and grease it with butter.

2. Over low heat, melt the butter completely, in a small saucepan. Add the sugar and stir it continuously. For 1 to 2 minutes, cook the sugar and butter mixture. Avoid boiling the sugar mixture.

3. Mix in the Nutella after removing the saucepan from the heat source.

4. Now, take a large mixing bowl or a standing mixer and pour in butter Nutella mixture. After pouring the butter Nutella and sugar mixture in a large-size bowl, whisk in cocoa powder, salt, eggs, baking powder, vanilla extract, and espresso powder (optional). Mix this concoction well until all the constituents are combined nicely.

5. The last step for preparing the batter for Nutella brownies is to add all-purpose flour and chocolate chips. Stir all the ingredients until well combined.

6. It is time to bake the Nutella brownies. Let’s proceed towards baking, shall we? Pour the Nutella brownies batter into prepared pan (Don’t brood over the batter, it will be very thick and sticky).

7. Keep the pan in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Once the tester comes out mostly clean, and the edges look set, take the pan out of the oven. Let the Nutella brownies cool for a few minutes.

8. Upon cooling the brownies, cut them into squares or rectangles and serve.

To store Nutella brownies, keep them in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate them for three to four days. To store the brownies for a more extended period, you can also freeze them for up to two to three months. Before serving, thaw the brownies overnight in a refrigerator and then bring them to room temperature.
